113362Photo #113362Several hoops needed on Rucklidge Avenue; Willesden Junction and its environs is a highly polluted area, and there are primary schools nearby, as well as people with respiratory conditions and normal run-of-the-mill folks who do not want to die prematurely of nitrous oxide poisoning. People in this area, as well as all London, need to be encouraged to cycle. Brent is quite resistant to this, in particular Willesden Junction - possibly because the cycle ways are so insufficient, and the Junction is seen as a dangerous place to ride. People need to be encouraged to cycle, particularly on Rucklidge Avenue. Please place as many as possible on this road, with one in particular outside 120 Rucklidge Avenue NW10 4PR. I actually suggested this 9 months ago too. Thank you very much.Cycle parking:

110373Photo #110373There is nowhere safe and secure to park a bike in this area. I suggest Kensal Rise station and Kensal Green station as a minimum. There could also be secure parking spaces at the end of the residential streets for all the people who live in flats and have no space.Cycle parking:

110030Photo #110030No through road for cars so a very quiet residential road which regularly has vacant parking bays to put a Cyclehoop BikeHangar in for 6 bikes
Pedestrian access through from Chamberlayne Road so would be useful to cyclists in a number of neighbouring roads.
Would encourage cycling as many do not have space to keep a bike and would encourage more cycling.

108981Photo #108981There are currently 3 stands, woefully inadequate. I reckon another 6 are needed. As noted by another contributor there are 4 reserved car spaces. I think 2 car spaces can be given up for additional cycle parking. A final point, the current stands have poorly located leaving bikes to be slammed by a swinging metal gate.
Photo shows 11 bikes (8 locked to the three stands, and 3 locked to street furniture). This is not usual.

105893Photo #105893Despite many cyclists who are resident here, there is not even a bike rack in this part of the Avenue (i.e. in front of Brondesbury Hall, 11 The Avenue).
I have been in touch with the Brent Council and they mentioned a waiting list to request a bike hangar from cyclehoop but it is not clear if this will ever happen, and how.
Thank you for your help.

102416Photo #102416I believe there is a a curved parking bays on this corner that are not practical for cars, that can be better used was a cycling shelter.

On the pavement that corner sometimes have furniture or other things people dumped there so if you went onto the payment it would be an improvement on that area. As there is actually the space to do so. It is just a fence and brick wall, I bike shelter would prevent people from dumping in that space as the space will no longer be there but used up.

So whether you use that parking bay or the pavement area a bike hanger would be well utilised.

102186Photo #102186There are at least 6 bicycles parking at different trees around Alan Preece Court. A few month back one of the bicycles was stolen by cutting the tree it was locked to. There are more than 15 parking places for cars, but unfortunately nothing for bicycles, so parents store kids cycles inside of the building blocking the passageways.Cycle parking:

100216Photo #100216It would be great to see more secure covered bike shelters at the end of residential streets as is common in other boroughs of London. A lot of accommodation in the local area are rental properties and bikes can be inconvenient in shared houses where space is already tight. This would encourage more people to cycle to work or a tube station and would help with bike thefts if it is a secure location.Cycle parking:
